Hey there! Do you remember Henry?

Henry is such a fun kid to photograph. He and I get together with some toys, some food, and a camera and just have fun running around for an hour or so. The photos that come out are always entertaining.
He's always a little nervous at first. I would be too, if someone was pointing a big camera at me. He came out of his shell pretty quickly.
He's old enough now that when he falls, it's not scary, it's funny!

Yes, he is actually under the house right now--doesn't mean it's not a cool picture ;)
A lot of our time was spent in the sail storage area of the house. You wouldn't normally think this would be a good place for photos, but it's where I got I lot of cool shots, thanks to the sun peeking through the slatted boards. The choice of location was all Henry--he's just a genius that way :)
Open field pics are also good, especially when you have ever-moving clouds that constantly change the composition of the photo.
Yes, he really did climb the boards. I think it's a boy thing, but it was pretty cool. He is fearless!
Have you noticed that Henry is reaching into his shirt pocket a couple of times? Yeah, he's reaching for shelled pistachios. Other kids might want candy--Henry wants pistachios!
I told you he was fearless :)
